“The president told me at one point, he said you know, you are my heart pick and Biden is my head pick,” said then-Governor Tim Kaine about being passed over as vice president in the 2008 presidential campaign.
Apparently, Senator Kaine is ready to give it another go.
Not dismayed by the fact that Hillary Clinton has not declared her candidacy for the 2016 Democratic nomination, our lapdog senator is bounding towards her for relevancy in the 2016 discussion, just as he was nearly eight years ago with Obama.
Kaine, one of the first politicians to endorse the obscure senator from Illinois and now-leader of the free world, is going “way” out on a limb to endorse the presumptive Democratic nominee – someone who has been running for president her entire adult life and, if you disagree, certainly since she introduced “HillaryCare” in the early 1990s.
Thus, the man passed-over in favor of someone who once famously declared Obama somewhat of an anomaly [1], has thrown in with the woman who ignored the 3 am phone call [2] on Sept. 11, 2012.
Bold prediction: politicos once again have something irrelevant to speculate on for the next two years rather than focus on an anemic economy, nationalized health care, and an inept foreign policy.
