The local television stations are still having a lot of fun with GreenTech, Terry McAuliffe’s former car company. Tonight, a Memphis station will have one of those “on your side” reports [1] featuring someone actually (and formerly) employed by GreenTech:
“We would stand over the car with tools in our hand and look like we were doing something to the car, but we wasn’t doing anything,” said the former employee.
GreenTech vigorously denies this and states that:
“This is a real company, it’s a building company, we have set very aggressive goals for ourselves, but we will not meet anyone’s arbitrary deadline for us”
Including, it seems, the deadlines and production and hiring goals of one-time employee, Terry McAuliffe.
