Senate passes transportation bill 25-15

After scrambling to address the concerns raised in an opinion from Ken Cuccinelli over the Medicaid agreement, things settled down in the Senate and the nabobs members passed the transportation bill 25-15. If you squint just right, you can make the vote out in the picture below (click to enlarge):

The tax-fattened bill now goes to the Governor for his signature.

  • Saw it comming. As much as some folks hate to hear this….got to spend a buck to make a buck. This will put folks back to work….Not the perfect solution but no one at anytime embraces the taxation part of representation. Time to move on.

    • It’s not the government’s job to make a buck. If you are making a buck off government, there are words for that: brigand, thief, pirate…

      Once again, socialized losses, private profits. This is called Fascism and our grandfathers killed a lot of Japs and Nazis to make sure we didn’t have to live this way.
