Over the email transom comes a press release from the Cuccinelli for Governor campaign stating that he has been endorsed by Sen. Rand Paul. From the release:
Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli said, “I am honored to receive Senator Paul’s endorsement. Senator Paul has been a true leader in the Senate in the fight for liberty. His work to rein in federal spending and fighting for our nation’s Founding Principles has been exemplary. I cannot thank Senator Paul enough for his gracious support. Senator Paul and I share the goal of defeating President Obama in November, and when we accomplish that goal, I look forward to his help in making sure that we are victorious in 2013.”
The announcement coincides with the “Liberty Political Action Conference” currently underway in Chantilly, where both Rand and Ron Paul, Cuccinelli, Sen. Jim DeMint, Sen. Mike Lee and a host of others are scheduled to appear [1].
