About Obama’s new campaign slogan

Obama’s “Forward” Slogan is all Backwards
Fox Business

  • I think the new campaign slogan is a naked attempt to curry favor with voters in the key swing state of Wisconsin.

  • It’s hard to understand why the President would select a new slogan that is so completely identified with the communist and socialist movements in the 20th century.

“so completely identified with the communist and socialist movements in the 20th century” – I’m not familiar with either of their slogans/propaganda so could you recommend a book or website where I could read up on that? Thanks, -ToR

Who is Ward and why is Obama for him?

  • MD Russ

“Forward” is a subliminal suggestion to not look back. Pay no attention to the fact that unemployment is still stubbornly stuck at over 8% for the past three years, that the budget deficit (if we actually had a budget) is over $1T, and that Social Security and Medicare are going to go bankrupt sooner than projected when Obama was elected President. “Forward” means to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain and instead focus on the smoke and mirrors show in front of you.

ToR, you don’t read much, do you?

  • Anyone who would look up the history of “Forward” might want to look up the history of “Change”, the last one word campaign logo of Obama. Let me help you out. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/oct/12/obamas-kenya-ghosts/a.

  • BK- Ward is the guy who just skewered Obama with his cartoon. Why Obama is for Ward I don’t know.

Just read a biography about Trotsky. Not difficult to find in a library.
