Instead of the customary “victory” party, Newt Gingrich has scheduled a press conference [1] for 11:00 tonight, after he is expected to get trounced by Romney (again) in the Nevada Caucuses. Speculation is that he might be dropping out of the race….
[2]UPDATE: Newt’s big announcement tonight is not that he’s getting out of the race, as some have speculated. His announcement [3] is that he’s going to “lay out a delegate-based strategy that will allow him to make good on his promise to stay in the race until the Republican National Convention this summer.”
