In this promotional video from Tim Kaine’s campaign, the candidate makes us a few promises:
He intends to run a “forward looking,” “optimistic” campaign. So when his campaign pixies issue releases that trash his opponent’s record, we can wonder if this breaks his forward looking promise. Conversely, if he isn’t willing to address his past statements and efforts on behalf of the Obama administration — and his own actions as Governor — we can wonder whether he’s only looking ahead because what’s in the rear view mirror is simply too difficult, or damaging, to explain.
And, just for grins, we can ask why the background music to his latest video entry sounds suspiciously like Pat Benatar [1].
