In his press release yesterday [1], former GOP Senate candidate Tim Donner noted that one of the reasons he was leaving the race was the overwhelming institutional support behind George Allen.
We can add to that list national talk show hosts. Sean Hannity went to bat for Allen on Twitter [2], asking people to “Help us support @GeorgeAllenVA in VA and win back control of the U.S. Senate!” and included a link to Allen’s campaign donation page.
Hannity has more than 215,000 followers on Twitter.
