In a few days Virginia voters will have the opportunity to do what many in the world do not – select their government peacefully at the ballot box.
On November 8, just a few days from now, the entire Virginia General Assembly – all 40 State Senators and 100 members of the House of Delegates – will either have their proposals and ideas mandated or repudiated by the people.
Unfortunately, a great many voters do not take this obligation seriously.
According to a recent poll conducted by Christopher Newport University [1], over 70 percent of respondents said they were giving little or no thought to these elections.
In this podcast, I lament the lack of participation, but also remind listeners that is our obligation to spread the message and encourage friends, family members, and colleagues to vote – wisely. And I mention one more time what the major issues are.
