The Terps warmed up in different uniforms, including helmets. The original helmets used a Tortoise shell design, consistent with the school’s “Fear the Turtle” slogan. But when the players came back out of the locker room for the kickoff, though, they were in completely different garb, including the helmets.
Pro-tip: Go back to the old uniforms [1]… and don’t ever wear these again.
