Unsurprisingly, only 10% of Republicans hold the “macaca” incident against Allen. But significantly, only 15% of independents care about the incident. And shockingly, only 30% of Democrats think the “macaca” incident was very important.
This is terrible news for the Democrats, even as yet another poll [3] shows Allen and Kaine tied at this early date, before the voters learn about Kaine’s record as one of the most partisan leftist Democrats and one of the closest allies of Barack Obama in the country.
