Democrat Del. Mark Keam announced he’s not exactly sure he’s running again.
“Because I am uncertain of what my House district will look like, I have decided to hold off on making any decisions about my political future until after the lines are drawn.(Keam’s Website [1])”
Why publicize that you are unsure about running for re-election? No one is truly sure about district lines, but certainly legislators have a good idea. Advertising that may start a lot of things that will be pretty tough to stop later.
Depending on how the lines are eventually drawn (This is Steve Shannon’s old seat), this may be a winnable seat.
Certainly if it’s an open one.
