Looks like D.J. McGuire might get his wish [1]. RTD is reporting [2] that former part-time governor and full-time campaigner-in-chief Tim Kaine is meeting as early as today to discuss a U.S. senate run with the “Boss.”
Former Gov. Timothy M. Kaine is expected to speak with President Barack Obama in the next day or two before deciding whether to re-enter elective politics and run for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Democratic incumbent Jim Webb in 2012.

The former governor said he was “flattered” by the interest and support shown for him running for office, but said he needs to have additional discussions on the matter before making a decision.
