The Virginia Beach Democratic Committee is starting to play games with a serious situation already.
“Does anyone want to call “Job Creator” Congressman-elect Rigell’s office and find out what his specific plans for job creation are? Here’s the number — 757.802…..,” writes the committee, led by Susan Mariner, on Facebook.
If the committee had been paying serious attention throughout the campaign, they would know the answer to that question and not resort to petty tactics to distract a team in transition.
Did your current Congressman ever provide you with that specific plan over the past two years? How many times did your current Congressman meet with you in townhalls to discuss that plan? What is your current Congressman’s plan in the lame-duck session – two months worth of still being congressman – going to do for job creation and reducing unemployment?
I suggest Susan Mariner get her own house in order before she resorts to childish tactics. If I were a member of that committee, I’d be ashamed at how far it’s fallen and what tactics it now has to resort to.
