The NRA has weighed in in the Congressional race in Virginia’s 5th district and has endorsed incumbent Rep. Tom Perriello [1], but challenger Robert Hurt did get a nice “thank you for being a friend” letter [2].
Recent polls have shown Hurt leading anywhere from two [3] to twenty six [4] points. Whether or not the NRA will have an impact depends on when end of the spectrum the real numbers fall.
