Primary Night – VPOD 96: Scott Rigell

Scott Rigell, Republican Nominee, Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District, takes a few moments tonight to talk about how the party will unify, thanks Ben Loyola, Bert Mizusawa, Scott Taylor, Jessica Sandlin and Ed Maulbeck for their efforts, discusses the importance of the Tea Party, and makes the case for how he intends to make Glenn Nye a one-term congressman.

“There’s a disturbing trend with our freshman incumbent Glenn Nye,” said Rigell. “He waits until the last minute to vote to figure out where he is – because his position is undecided. And a person who’s undecided, be by definition, he or she is not leading. You won’t see our freshman incumbent on the House floor making an empassioned impassioned speech about something because he doesn’t know what he himself believes – that’s not leadership.”
