With the clock ticking on health care and Nancy Pelosi determined hell or high water to pass health care, even if means giving up the House and Senate in November, the few remaining undecideds are receiving the focus. Glenn Nye is one of those undecideds. He voted ‘no’ in November, what will it take for Pelosi & co to get a yes vote out of him? One thing comes to mind:
Carrier(s).
Pelosi strong-arms the Florida delegation to accept Virginia’s plea deal: health care gets a vote and Hampton Roads keeps one (or two) carriers.
From what I’m hearing, not outside the realm of possibility. Just need a catchy name for it, like the Cornhusker Kickback and the Louisiana Purchase.
