Breaking news from the Virginian-Pilot [1]: embattled first-term Democrat Glenn Nye from Virginia’s second district will vote “no” on healthcare tomorrow, saying it does not go far enough to reduce costs.
Nye, who is now being challenged by eight Republicans (Rigell, Mizusawa, Golden, Taylor, Loyola, Smith, Maulbeck, and Sandlin), was first elected in 2008 and has been rumored as a potential party-switcher.
Hey, Glenn, the GOP field is wide open. C’mon over…it’ll be fun. ‘Cause after tomorrow, there isn’t a progressive in Virginia Beach who will work for you.
