In the primary battle between Rosemary Wilson and Jeff McWaters in Virginia’s 8th Senate District, McWaters received some very welcome news today – an endorsement from the NRA.
“As a lifelong sportsmen, hunter and strong supporter of the Second Amendment, I am very pleased to earn the endorsement and A rating from the NRA,” McWaters said. “Hunting is something I’ve enjoyed since I was a teen, it is very important to me, and I wish to continue working with Second Amendment groups such as the NRA to ensure our Constitutional rights are preserved.”
The NRA cited McWaters as one who is a “pro-Second Amendment and pro-hunting candidate who supports gun owners and sportsmen in Virginia.”
