Virginia U.S. Rep. Jim Moran (D-8), who as recently as two weeks ago said that we needed to elect State Sen. Creigh Deeds to governor to protect us from the GOP’s “Taliban ticket” [1], has a challenger: Matthew Berry [2].
Moran, whose public service in the 111th Congress included predictably voting for the government takeover of health care, is also noted for fiercely taking on “big pharm” [3] for their advertising.
Berry has served as a clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Judge Laurence H. Silberman, and as a lawyer for the Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission.
Should I just award the 2010 Berry Award to him now?
