“Complete Disarray” for Democrats in House races says GOP insider

Bobby Mathieson can’t answer a direct question [1]. Joe Bouchard has become a tool for the left. Paula Miller still hasn’t proposed a bill in Richmond. And, Robin Abbott can’t have her law-firm payoff Steve Shannon fast enough.

And that’s just in Hampton Roads. And these were supposed to be slam-dunk wins for the Dems.

Now, they’ll be lucky if they can win them.

All across Virginia, there are going to be major surprises in the House of Delegates contests this coming Tuesday, so much so that Riley calls it [2] a “Category 5” political hurricane.

Effectively, it’s now up to each campaign’s organization and the ground game (Get out the vote strategies) for how many seats get picked-up. Republicans appear together and, according to one GOP strategist, the Democrats are in “complete disarray.”

Could there be losses deep inside Northern Virginia too – as in, Arlington and Alexandria?

Has the Deeds implosion created such a vacuum that a 3-5 GOP seat pick up turns into a tidal wave?

Or, is this wishful thinking and another example of the enthusiasm gap? Perhaps…but if the average GOP voter is this motivated, and not just the activist, Tuesday will be bloody red for the Democrats.
