Just got a press release forwarded to me from Jody Wagner, eminent scholar of popcorn [1] and fuzzy math (which reminds me – both her revenue projections and her popcorn are full of hot air!).
“For the past four years, Jody Wagner has helped Governor Kaine work across party lines to produce bi-partisan, common sense solutions to fix Virginia’s transportation problems.”
Sounds like Jody Wagner’s taking credit for HB3202 which Kaine signed in 2007. Kaine [2] called 3202 “bipartisan compromise legislation will allow us to make significant and responsible investments in our transportation system.” 3202 was the bill with the unconstitutional regional taxing authorities. Now we know it was all due to Jody Wagner’s hard work.
