Pat Mullins, chair of the Louisa County Republican Committee [1], announced, as expected, his candidacy for Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) Chair at today’s Young Republican Federation of Virginia convention, according to Crystal Clear Conservative [2].
Sandy Liddy Bourne, who also was rumored to be running [3], is not going to run for the position of RPV Chair; but, in a twist, is running as sort of a ticket with Mullins to be the chair of an as yet defined RPV project called “Victory Virginia.”
Krystle says it’s a “great example of Republican unity.”
We shall see if that lasts.
