Apparently First Vice Chair Mike Thomas will only be acting Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia until May 2. At that time, State Central will re-convene to elect someone to serve until the convention convenes May 28.
Is this procedure being done to give a candidate a “leg up” on any potential competition?
