McAuliffe and Democrat Stoney should know alot about letting air out of tires

In 2004, Levar Stoney, Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Virginia, was responsible for a group of activists that were accused by police of slashing nearly 100 tires [1] in the Milwaukee region. According to reports, Stoney failed to cooperate with the police investigation in order to protect the activists.

Who was the chairman of the Democratic Party in 2004 during the Kerry-Edwards campaign?

Hmm…I believe he’s running for governor in Virginia: Terry McAuliffe.

For McAuliffe to come out today and be critical of an off-the-cuff joke about letting “air out of tires” by Mike Huckabee, when his team was directly involved in a police investigation and outright vandalism, is hypocrisy at its best.

Will McAuliffe call on Stoney’s resignation? Will McAuliffe condemn Stoney for not coorperating with the police? Will McAuliffe apologize on behalf of the Democratic party for this act of vandalism?

Don’t hold your breath…this accusation is just flat.

By the way, the press secretary for McAuliffe – who refuses to answer my queries (I wonder why? — they did in January) — has a 224 area code. Why is someone from Illinois handling Chairman McAuliffe’s press? Perhaps this is just another indicator that Chairman McAuliffe would rather out-source than use Virginia resources.
