Sen. Mark Warner loves those automatic pay raises. He voted [1] to kill an amendment [2] yesterday that would have ended the practice of lawmakers giving themselves pay raises in the dark of the night without so much as a vote.
Wasn’t Mark Warner supposed to be a “radical centrist?” Wasn’t he supposed to be pro-business and fiscally conservative? What the heck is fiscally conservative about killing an amendment that would end the practice of automatic Congressional pay raises?
Even better! When are the editorial boards that were so gaga over his centrist talk going to hold his feet to the fire about his 100% allegiance to the left wing of the Democrat party? No one is protecting automatic pay raises for journalists.
Centrist? I haven’t seen a centrist thing about Mark Warner yet.
