Nye has two primary residences?

[1]Thelma Drake questioned Democrat Glenn Nye’s “residences” in today’s media-filled Congressional Debate.

Nye bought a home in Washington DC in 2005 and receives a “homestead exemption” tax break on it by claiming it as his “primary residence.”

He also claimed another “primary residence” in Virginia, as he’s registered to vote in his sister’s house in Norfolk.

Drake wondered where he pays state income taxes, and also where does he truly live. DC seems to think it’s DC. Virginia seems to think it’s Virginia. Nye seems to think…..who knows?

Oddly, 2005 was also the time Nye stopped voting in Virginia, according to records supplied by the Drake Campaign.

Update: Listen to the following interview between Mike Gooding of WVEC-13 (ABC) and Candidate Nye where Nye admits that his DC residence, while declared as his primary and still claims as a homestead exemption, is not really where he lives.
