We’ve been talking about it since Romney dropped out in February, and now the moment is finally upon us: Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, will make his VP announcement sometime today or tomorrow.
But it’s fun to talk about, so we’ll give it one more thread.
My thoughts are that although Drudge is reporting that there will be a leak tonight at 6 p.m., I don’t believe McCain will attempt to subvert Obama’s night. McCain will wait until tomorrow morning and have the spotlight all to himself.
So, it will be in Ohio — Dayton to be precise — tomorrow with Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota.
Pawlenty’s youth, brand of Republicanism, appeal to the working class, and executive experience makes him the best choice.
