Violating copyright laws, say the feds
“A blogger suspected of streaming songs from the unreleased Guns N’ Roses album “Chinese Democracy” on his Web site was arrested Wednesday and appeared in court, where his bail was set at $10,000. (Daily Press [1])”
Guns N’ Roses has been working on the album since 1994, and the 27-year old Kevin Cogill allegedly posted 9 unreleased songs for the perennially-upcoming album.
Prosecutors said Wednesday the leak could result in a “significant” financial loss for the band.
So could working on an album for 14 years.
