War Hero kicked out of Obama fundraiser

Former Senator from Georgia, injured war hero Max Cleland was invited, and then abruptly disinvited from an Atlanta fundraiser for Barack Obama.
“we will open ourselves to criticism” was the reason given by Obama’s deputy campaign manager.

Lionell Spruill (D-Chesapeake) reiterated time and time again to Tim Craig of the Washington Post that he has “contacts.” Apparently, in his mind, he is the “man behind the curtain” for Democrats in Virginia.

Obama raised $52 million…last month!

Obama is reporting that he raised $52 million last month. Now that’s a lot of “change.”
Update: Fox News is reporting that McCain has $95 million on-hand; Obama has $92.3 million. Regardless, that’s a LOT of money.
