In 2005, Jerry Kilgore called out Tim Kaine on tax hikes. Kaine called him a liar. But only three days after beating Kilgore, Kaine said he wouldn’t rule out tax hikes for roads. And less than a week after taking the oath as Governor, Kaine attempted to push through the first of his many tax hike schemes. Mr. Kaine’s most recent tax hike utterance, wasn’t a one-off remark. It was a promise.
