EPA to Virginia coal-producers: get a new job
The EPA announced this week a new round of regulations that seeks to reduce emission rates per megawatt hour to 810 pounds by 2030. Right now, Virginia plants average 1,297 pounds. This constitutes a 37.5% reduction in emissions over the next 16 years. Nationwide, the new regs are expected to cost 224,000 jobs and $50B.
Bergdahl released, but there is a dark cloud in the silver lining
We need to celebrate Bergdahl’s release – no one is going to deny that – but, once again, this administration finds a way to trample on the Constitution in the process. And, let’s pray they haven’t made things more dangerous for those who are willing to serve and sacrifice.
