Penn State penalties are appropriate
Penn State’s football culture enabled decades worth of abuse of kids at the hands of Jerry Sandusky, and the cover up that ensued has only reinforced that fact. The NCAA’s penalties, while harsh, are appropriate. For this to never happen again, Penn State has to ween itself from the addiction of college football.
