Even More SCC: Congressional delegation letter to Mullins asking for postponement
Congressmen Morgan Griffith, Scott Rigell, and Robert Hurt have all signed a letter to RPV Chairman Pat Mullins today, asking that the resolution of appeals of the mass meetings and conventions in Campbell and Fauquier counties and Virginia Beach be postponed until after November 4.
The drumbeat of grassroots and elected officials requesting the resolution of this issue be postponed has steadily built throughout the day. Hopefully Pat Mullins and the rest of SCC are seeing this and will be willing to put the best interests of the party ahead of settling scores. I know that while settling scores with folks may make Russ Moulton and others happy, it’s detrimental to our efforts in November and that’s the most important thing.
I continue to hope (probably irrationally) that SCC is going to do the right thing tomorrow.
