Kaine begins his campaign for Vice President…againPolitics

“The president told me at one point, he said you know, you are my heart pick and Biden is my head pick,” said then-Governor Tim Kaine about being passed over as vice president in the 2008 presidential campaign.

Apparently, Senator Kaine is ready to give it another go.

Not dismayed by the fact that Hillary Clinton has not declared her candidacy for the 2016 Democratic nomination, our lapdog senator is bounding towards her for relevancy in the 2016 discussion, just as he was nearly eight years ago with Obama.

Kaine, one of the first politicians to endorse the obscure senator from Illinois and now-leader of the free world, is going “way” out on a limb to endorse the presumptive Democratic nominee – someone who has been running for president her entire adult life and, if you disagree, certainly since she introduced “HillaryCare” in the early 1990s.

Thus, the man passed-over in favor of someone who once famously declared Obama somewhat of an anomaly, has thrown in with the woman who ignored the 3 am phone call on Sept. 11, 2012.

Bold prediction: politicos once again have something irrelevant to speculate on for the next two years rather than focus on an anemic economy, nationalized health care, and an inept foreign policy.

But for those really interested, see the wall-to-wall coverage from Decision Virginia, AP, Virginian-Pilot, and Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Meanwhile, receiving no coverage, this happened:

“For nearly two years, House committees have aggressively investigated what happened the night four brave Americans were killed in Benghazi, and the Obama Administration’s reaction to that terrorist attack. Despite White House stonewalling, our committees have uncovered a great deal of information that gives cause to the grave concerns expressed by countless Americans. I’m proud of our committees’ work.

“Unfortunately, the Obama Administration’s continued obstruction has made clear that it is time for a House Select Committee to force the Administration to end its stonewalling and come clean to congressional investigators, an inquiring media, and the American public.

“In the days after four Americans were killed by terrorists, President Obama’s advisors orchestrated a campaign to deceive their fellow Americans as to what occurred, and we deserve to know why. I thank Chairmen Issa, McKeon, Rogers, and Royce for their steadfast conviction, and I know we will all continue to build on their incredible efforts.” – Majority Leader Eric Cantor on the formation of a select committee to investigate Benghazi

One thing is for sure. According to FactCheck.org Tim Kaine is NOT endorsing Dave Brat. http://www.factcheck.org/2014/05/cantor-mislabels-opponent/

Lol, the Clintons still feel Kaine betrayed them by endorsed Obama in 2008. They hold grudges like none other. This is Kaine’s attempt to get back in Hillary’s good books — look at Claire McCaskill.

Tim Kaine may have trouble winning re-election if he can’t ride Mark Warner or Barack Obama to victory anymore.
