Liberate Virginia’s Legislative Video For Just $15!Virginia

Did you know that it costs $15 a pop to put Virginia General Assembly online.

Waldo Jaquith’s project over at Richmond Sunlight has been working to fix this problem with a crowdsourcing solution for God knows how long. So it’s that time of year again.. and your chance to drop $15 this morning is now!

As of my donation, there are 40 more videos to sponsor.  So line up — your name will be mentioned in the video you sponsor, so for the mere cost of participation… well, you get the drill.

Why should Republicans pay for Democrat opp research?

Because it’s open source — ergo Republican oppo research, too. Besides — at $15 a pop, it’s better to crowdsource it rather than force the taxpayer to subsidize it.
