CNN says the delegate breakout is Romney with 6, Paul with 5, Santorum with 3 — 21 unpledged and 3 unpledged RNC delegates.

So that’s 14 via CNN, eight wanderers, and the three superdelegates?

Many, including Drudge, were predicting that Paul would win Maine. Paul poured pretty much all of his eggs into this basket after Iowa. So this actually is a pretty big victory for Romney.

Is the organization of Team Mitt just out-hustling the Ron Paul R-LOVE-UTION or what? I thought caucuses were supposed to be Dr. Paul’s strong suit.

Some how there seems to be a misunderstanding on the actual procedure in caucus states. Apportionment does in no way account for the delegate selection. The selection of delegates is accomplished after the caucus at a meeting subsequent to the caucus. Thus, those that stay or go to the meeting control the selection of delegates. At the convention, the selected delegates will cast their vote. Those who go home after the caucus have no idea of this process in the regard that those who control the meeting select the delegates. Would you believe that Ron Paul loyalists out number the “big three” at the post-caucus meeting? Yup! Do you understand what is going on now and who is amassing delegates in the caucus states?

And the Restablishment rolls with big media now like just like the DObamacrats.. Nice inside job by the Downeast rinos! The least you could do is roll over and thank us before you get out of bed ayeh.. This aint over I am afraid, news is all about the counties up there that gop officials where Paul numbers were solid were closing poll locations due to snow. LOL, LMAO! I lived in maine for 2 years. Closing polls for a few inches of snow is like closing down the beach because the waves are higher than 3 feet. The weather was routine for Maine folk I stay in touch with. Clearly this was an inside job by the establishment. The Girl Scouts didn’t cancel their events but the GOP did? LOL Romney, Chicago style.

GOP establishment closed the voting and called the caucus because they want Mittens to have media optics so they can imprint him as a winner again in the minds of the masses. The GOP closed thecaucus when Mittens was ahead, not when all the votes were counted. This is a Chicago style move perpetrated by republican elite insiders, not voters. And the GOP, our party, chose not to include votes from certain counties where Paul is strongest.. This is the same BS that “happened” in Iowa. This is happening because Mitt is not a good GOP candidate but the elite are lining up party favors they plan to cash in later, deny all you want.

Most Republicans are conservatives and they do not want a moderate forced on them or they might do the unthinkable. You rinos are begging for division among the base. Dems are ecstatic.
