Quinnipac: Allen 44%, Kaine 42%
By | Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 | Politics, Virginia

Here we go again with oscillating poll numbers… this time, Allen is on top.  From the poll:

                     Dec 21 Oct 11 Sep 15 Jun 30
                     2011 2011 2011 2011

Allen 44 44 45 42
Kaine 42 45 44 43
SMONE ELSE(VOL) 1 1 1 2
WLDN'T VOTE(VOL) 2 1 1 2
DK/NA(VOL) 12 9 9 11

Not much change here other than to add that the race is very close for U.S. Senate in 2012, that people pretty much have their minds made up on both candidates (you either love ‘em or hate ‘em), and the youth vote is showing some extremely weird numbers.  They like Allen, but they’re voting for Kaine.  Can anyone explain that?

Oscillating within the margin of error, this one will be tight.
Youth vote: Well, Allen is a very congenial guy. Maybe young voters don’t know much about him.
