Shaun Kenney joins Scott Lee to talk 2013 governor’s GOP nomination fight
By Bearing Drift | Saturday, December 17th, 2011 | Podcasts, PoliticsThis week on Bearing Drift’s “The Score,” Shaun Kenney joins Scott Lee to talk about how Attorney General Ken Cuccineli “broke protocol” to challenge Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling for the Republican nomination for governor in 2013.
Kenney stated that if Cuccinelli had followed protocol anytime before in his political career, he might not be where he is today. He also equated this looming battle to “seeing your parents fight.”
However, he also said most voters are more concerned about the 2012 election and warned that whoever the gubernatorial nominee is going to be, they have to be able to defeat someone like Terry McAuliffe.
