Another one bites the dust 2012. Is this the beginning or Newt*Cain?
It’s not a surprise at all, totally expected. Does anyone think in the general election Newt/Cain can be a winning ticket against Obama? While the moral majority is dead in the water, both of their past will be spotlighted continuously by the Democrats.
Totally expected because it’s really down to Newt or Mitt now and you wouldn’t have expected Cain to endorse Romney. Kathy, there’s no chance that Cain would be chosen for the veep slot…why would you want all the “he said, she said” chaos on your ticket if you could avoid it? I think Not Larry Sabato made an important point today that a Newt win would probably keep McDonnell off the ticket as well. Gingrich has lived in Virginia for ten years, he’s registered to vote here..the president and the vice president have to come from different states.
The irony is that inspite of his comments saying you don’t have a heart re illegal aliens, Perry remains on conservatives radar screens, has a boat load of money and we are still 4 weeks away from the first primary. Paul has risen sharply in the polls but is he attracting grandma and grandpa conservatives who dominate polling stations? Former Perry supporters left for Cain and now they are forging ties with Newt but while Perry is down today I can’t count him out next month.. A lot could change this holiday season.
Well you didn’t say which Monday so I guess we can’t say we were misled.
Actually, I didn’t read it here first but I did hear from Cain’s own mouth he wasn’t making any endorsements for “at least a week” or even longer. Frankly, I’m not sure his endorsement be a good thing for Newt. He’s already picked up most of his supporters, and the last thing he needs is to pick up his baggage, if you know what I mean.
