Bell to seek GOP nomination for Attorney General
By | Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 | Politics

The Daily Progress reported yesterday that Del. Rob Bell of Albemarle County will also be seeking the Republican nomination for Attorney General in 2013.

Bell told Bearing Drift the same thing he told the Daily Progress: “Given Attorney General Cuccinelli’s announcement that he will be running for Governor, I will be running for Attorney General. I will make a formal announcement in the near future.”

Bell, a former prosecutor, is beginning his sixth term in the General Assembly after winning an unopposed election in November.
