Why isn’t Ward Armstrong focusing on jobs?
By | Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 | Politics, Southside, Virginia

Democrat Ward Armstrong, fighting for his political life in a contest with Republican Del. Charles Poindexter in the 9th district, is asked the ultimate question is this WSLS report: “why aren’t you focused on jobs?”

With apologies to Cervantes, the Armstrong campaign can be summed up like so:

“That’s exactly it,’ replied Don Quixote, ‘that’s just how beautifully I’ve worked it all out — because for a knight errant to go crazy for good reason, how much is that worth? My idea is to become a lunatic for no good reason at all.”

With the unemployment rate over 16& in his area jobs are the last thing Ward wants to talk about.

Ward knows well he has been a failure as a delegate in jobs, in transportation, and in building a Democrat majority in the House of Delegates. He thinks people don’t understand and that if he continues to rail against AEP he will win reelection. He needs to apologize for his false attacks but he just can’t. Guess he wants someone to believe his sign on his office ” An honest lawyer”. Is he really ?
