Perriello = Pathetic
By JR Hoeft | Thursday, October 27th, 2011 | PoliticsWe demand of our elected leaders, even former ones, a certain degree of leadership and the oft-mentioned cliche “gravitas.”
So, ask yourself, does this report from Olympia Meola of the Richmond Times-Dispatch read to you like acceptable behavior from a former congressman:
“Former 5th District Rep. Tom Perriello, a Democrat, stood outside the Fairfax GOP office on Wednesday, joined by a group of President Barack Obama’s supporters. They held signs and chanted ‘four more years.’”
Perriello was outside an event where former Massachusetts governor and presidential aspirant Mitt Romney was attending to motivate GOP volunteers in advance of the Nov. 8 elections.
Can you imagine former Congressman Tom Davis, Thelma Drake, or Virgil Goode behaving in such a manner?
I didn’t think so.
Perriello has been rumored to be angling for future statewide office, but right now he’s just pathetic.

This is why we shouldn’t elect Daily Kos activists to Congress.
That kind of behavior really impresses Dem voters however and proves his creds. The Dems are the party of, by and for the Infantile. Goo goo.
Guess he forgot about having police remove protesters from his office back when he was in Congress: http://www.schillingshow.com/2009/11/18/police-prohibit-protest-at-congressman-tom-perriellos-office/
Sauce for the goose?
Always was pathetic. I’ve always thought this guy was among the most pathetic lightweights I’ve ever seen elected in the Commonwealth.
The funniest part was there were about 14 of them and 300 of us… pretty lame effort if you ask me.
