George Allen: Liberal Politician Tea Partier
By Ken Falkenstein | Sunday, October 16th, 2011 | Politics
Last week, Jamie Radtke called George Allen a “liberal politician.”
This week Tim Kaine called Allen a “Tea Partier.”
Meanwhile, George Allen has not called any of his opponents any childish names.
So, it seems to me that the best characterization of George Allen is “mature adult.”

It seems to me the best characterization of this blog post is “a joke.”
Seems all Kaine and Radtke can do is call names and point fingers. And funny that they both seem to read from the same playbook.
Hey dog turds clump together… Kaine and Radtke… Do you smell what we’re trying not to step in?
Lee, Lets give a warm welcome to Macaca.. Can’t make this stuff up.
Turbo: George Allen made a terrible mistake 6 years ago. He also apologized directly to the person against whom he transgressed, and he went on to lose his Senate seat.
In the ensuing years, Allen has shown the sincerity of his apology and repentance by dedicating himself to serious policy initiatives, and he has run his current campaign based on those ideas. In other words, he learned from his mistake and grew into a better person as a result.
Our mutual religion believes in redemption. We believe that if a person offers a sincere apology, it is a sin not to accept it. I believe Allen has demonstrated his sincerity and redeemed himself through his actions and conduct over the past 6 years. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want to be judged based on a mistake I made 6 years ago for which I had sincerely apologized and that no longer defines who I am today.
So, looking at the race as it exists today, I see a candidate on the right who makes the ridiculous assertion that Allen is a “liberal,” and I see a leftist candidate who characterizes as a “tea partier” a candidate who is opposed by 4 candidates from the tea party. Through their actions, both Radtke and Kaine show that they will engage in childish name-calling over serious discussion of ideas, and in so doing, they both show their contempt for the voters and demonstrate that they do not deserve to be taken seriously.
And Allen, through his actions and conduct, shows respect for both his opponents and the voters, and in so doing, shows that he is the adult in the race.
Ken, Allen wants to win. Thats all. That is neither conservative nor is it selfless. Allen is a veteran professional politician who has a tremendous capacity to gather a crowd and fill a room. He has character and charisma. He has command of the issues and most of all he has more experience than any of his gop challengers. Allen is the presumptive nominee for a reason.. EXPERIENCE! Allen has nothing to lose by debating a bunch of redneck camo wearing jesus loving reverend tea party organizing broadcasting rookie wannabe 2nd tier also ran challengers.. None of the underdogs have a fair chance at the election so they should all go home and let the pro fast forward to the presumptive challenger former governor whats his name that Obama so desperately needs to win.
Is it time for Virginia’s “The One” George Allen to join a debate and to reveal the abuse that our government has waged on tax payers? Is Allen competent among lesser underlings? Is it a waste of we the peoples time for the old pro to be seen at a debate with a field of rookie youngn’s? Is it time for people to want a fair and balanced debate with George Allen, Jamie Radtke, Tim Donner, David McCormick and EW Jackson to see them all and hear from them all? If George Allen is the smart likeable guy and has a solid record, what reasons would he have to refuse to debate those pesky wannabe rookies? Why does George Allens action and conduct warrant refusal to enter a debate? Does he fear that conservatives will pound on his claimed bi-pro choice/life positions? Does Allen fear that his record will be challenged live among HIS voters? Does George Allen have such a stellar senate record or not, Ken?
To his credit, George Allen has made attempts to reach out and repent.. 5 years late. Political posturing for suckers 101. IF George Allen proves that he is the best candidate for Virginia and his performance beats the presumed losers after a fair debate, I WILL RELUCTANTLY DONATE TO THE GEORGE ALLEN FOR SENATE CAMPAIGN AND PUT UP SIGNS ON MY COMERCIASL PROPERTY AND LAND.
Somebody, I need a witness..
Turbo: Your comments are off-point. The point of my post was that Radtke’s and Kaine’s ridiculous labeling of Allen as “liberal” on the one hand and “tea partier” on the other are juvenile and demean those two candidates. Allen’s use of “macaca” 6 years ago demeaned him, but he apologized and sincerely repented in the years since. As I said earlier, I believe in redemption if the repentance is sincere, and Allen does look to me like a more mature man who learned and grew from his mistake.
As for the rest of what you wrote, I don’t believe that every person who announces a candidacy for an office deserves to be taken seriously as a candidate merely based on that announcement. Credibility must be earned and demonstrated. I have seen nothing from Rdtke that demonstrates that she has either earned or demonstrated credibility as a candidate for the U.S. Senate. In fact, her credibility with me has gone down over the course of her campaign through her juvenile rhetoric and incessant whining. Allen need not give her unwarranted credibility by sharing a stage with her.
Ken, Debates are traditionally the way new blood circulates into politics. How do unproven candidates break into the good ole boys club without having debates? This is why the good ole boys and establishment backed favorites avoid them. Radtke, Donner and the others have earned my respect and I admire their overwhelming desire to debate with the most credible conservative republican candidate.. The One and fellow heeb among you and me: George Felix Allen.
George Allen need not debate with a black or a woman. His sound ideology would be tarnished, misused and confused with their black guy and the white girls wisdom. And besides, all the black guy wants is power right Ken? The establishment uses favorites to achieve power, not to make America better for everyone. Allen clearly thinks about serving his country, not improving his own station in life or the stations of his cronies, right Ken?
Scuze me but I have to cut this short.. my BS detector keeps buzzing and I have to jump into my suit.
OK, donned the suit and I am ready to fight Elephant shit with English Tea.. Caffienated.
1. Can a republican candidate be pro choice AND Conservative?
2. Can a republican claim he worked to balance budget through an increase in the amount of government spending they voted for AND be a conservative?
3. Can a republican refuse to take live questions on the constitution that could help citizens determine if he/she is fit to serve our state AND be a conservative?
George Allen earned the liberal branding with his tenure in the senate. It isn’t Jamie Radtke’s fault that Tim Kaine is falsely and knowingly so calling Allen a Tea Partier. Kaine’s comedy has nothing to do with Allen voting like a Big Government Lefty.
