TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11TH
On Tuesday, the House will meet at 12:00 p.m. for morning hour and 2:00 p.m. for legislative business. Votes will be postponed until 6:30 p.m. Members are advised that the 6:30 p.m. vote series will be longer than usual.

    I am all for free trade, however I will point the definition of treaty: A formal agreement between two or more states, as in reference to terms of peace or trade. The house has no business voting on this subject. Just because people decide to call it an act, doesn’t mean that it isn’t a treaty. I remember on several occasions the past 15 years or so hearing the President of Mexico and the PM of Canada accidentilly referring to NAFTA as a treaty and correcting themselves…because they were being interviewed by U.S. reporters.
