Just a brief addendum to SWAC Girl’s liveblogging and photos of the 7th District Roundup on Oct. 1, 2011.

Eric Cantor, George & Mrs. Allen

Peter Farrell
Peter Farrell, candidate for delegate in Virginia’s 56th district, waves to the crowd at the Roundup. He is running unopposed. Bill Janis, former 56th district delegate and now Independent candidate for Henrico Commonwealth’s Attorney, was present and Eric Cantor several times urged attendees to support him.

About the author

Jane Dudley

Jane Dudley has enjoyed conservatism and photography for over 30 years. After looking around at the mediocre state of affairs of political photography as it exists on the right, she decided to start making better images, to document Virginia Republicans and to inspire them to make more of an effort to put a fine face on their fine ideas. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and works in new media.

Great photos, Jane! It was great to see you and reminded me that the first time we “met” was at the Roundup about five years ago when you were taking pictures of the event.

Thanks, but if you keep up the good work with the photos, I will be out of a job! :-)

All of the Republican elected officials that are supporting former Republican, now Independent, Bill Janis, are required under Virginia Republican Party Rules to resign from their local Republican Committees. To date, none have done so. It is time for the RPV to step in and enforce the rules.
