CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Bearing Drift Media announced that it is merging with Virginia Line Media LLC to provide comprehensive conservative content to Virginians on demand via the Internet, print, social networks, and radio today.

“This is yet another step forward for Virginians who are looking for a substantial, statewide conservative alternative for their news and information – how they want it and when they want it,” said Jim Hoeft, Bearing Drift’s founder and new president of Virginia Line Media. “By combining with Virginia Line, conservatives now have a clear alternative to hear, read, and instantaneously share the political information that is most important to them – information that affects their family and livelihood.”

Bearing Drift has become the undisputed leader in providing conservative information online. And, Virginia Line’s “The Score” is heard on three radio stations and three online radio networks throughout Virginia, conducting weekly programs with Virginia’s key decision makers and opinion leaders.

“To partner with Bearing Drift means we instantly gain access to a well-established online conservative voice – and we provide a well-established radio voice to amplify the message,” said Norman Leahy, founder of Virginia Line. “Our combined efforts will give conservatives an outlet for their concerns, and will provide feedback to legislators and pundits about what a substantial part of the electorate believes is the right direction for the commonwealth – without censorship or condescension.”

In addition to Hoeft and Leahy, Virginia Line Media’s partners include Scott Lee, Brian Schoeneman, and Shaun Kenney (Read bios).

BearingDrift.com, Twitter.com/bearingdrift, and Facebook.com/bearingdrift will remain the online venues for all content, including carrying complete episodes of “The Score” via podcasts. “The Score” can be heard on WLNI – 105.9 FM in Lynchburg, WMBG – 740 AM in Williamsburg, and WLEE – 990 AM in Richmond. Bearing Drift Magazine’s next issue will be available to subscribers only in October.

Bearing Drift

Bearing Drift has been providing an online conservative voice in Virginia politics since 2004. The name describes relative motion at sea - without bearing drift, you need to move to the right to avoid a collision! If it looks like the ship-of-state is going to wreck, move right; you can't go wrong!!!

Congratulations to you and Norm et al. for uniting and becoming the dominant voice for Virginia Conservatives. We are going to need you as the “hypocrisy police” more than ever as this political season ramps and both our state and national Conservative candidates are attacked by “suicide bloggers”, media, Democrats, leftist trolls, unions and other leftist troublemakers who are currently scheming under their rocks and in their cesspools.
