Will DPV spokesman Brian Coy be intellectually honest in his indignation?
By Ken Falkenstein | Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 | PoliticsToday, Democrat Party of Virginia spokesman Brian Coy attacked Governor McDonnell and GOP Senate candidate George Allen for not having renounced Sarah Palin’s recent comments criticizing the political class in Northern Virginia for contributing to the problem of the grotesque size and scope of the federal government:
“Her ridiculous comments about Northern Virginia are just further proof of what people already know: Sarah Palin doesn’t understand what Virginia families are going through, and she doesn’t care,” said Virginia Democratic spokesman Brian Coy. ”It shouldn’t be difficult for any Virginian to condemn her absurd rhetoric, particularly for people like George Allen and Bob McDonnell, both of whom have lived in Northern Virginia and have spent much of their lives in Virginia politics.”
It is now easier to understand why the Democrats’ policy agenda defies common sense: They have now officially admitted that they view the inside-the-Beltway political class as “Virginia families.”
But then, the lunatics do appear to be running the Democrat Party asylum at all levels: Over the past weekend, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa introduced President Obama with remarks literally declaring war on Republicans and calling for “taking these son-of-a-bitches out.” Not to be outdone, Vice President Joe Biden, at the same event, called Republicans “barbarians.”
President Obama was present at this event but declined to repudiate these remarks, and today, his White House spokesmouth, Jay Carney, continued to refuse to do so. Former Democrat National Committee Chairman and current Virginia Democrat Senate candidate Tim Kaine’s silence is equally deafening.
So, Mr. Coy, do you believe the use of violent rhetoric to attack political opponents should be condemned by our elected leaders, or should such condemnation be reserved only for those who dare to criticize the political elite? Are you intellectually honest enough to apply the same standard of righteous indignation to President Obama and Chairman Kaine as you applied to Governor McDonnell and Senator Allen? If so, I’ve got a statement all ready for you to release:
“Their ridiculous comments are just further proof of what people already know: Jimmy Hoffa and Joe Biden don’t understand what American families are going through, and they don’t care. It shouldn’t be difficult for any American to condemn their absurd rhetoric, particularly for people like Barack Obama and Tim Kaine, who have spent much of their lives in American politics.”

I believe Mr Coy is too coy to make any statement that might be frowned upon by his ventriloquist.
You gotta feel just a little bad for the guy. He’s only in his mid-20s, so maybe he’s just a bit naive.
Oh, he worked on the failed Ned Lamont for Governor campaign and now he’s paid to feign outrage at anything that’s being done by people who don’t have a “D” next to their names?
Nevermind. He’s a perfect fit for the DPV.
