Virginia Politics Podcast 122: Bryce Reeves, GOP Nominee, 17th State Senate District
By JR Hoeft | Tuesday, August 30th, 2011 | Podcasts
Bryce Reeves is a former police officer and Army Ranger who thinks Sen. Edd Houck has had more than enough time in Richmond. After 28 years, Reeves says it’s time for new leadership in the state Senate.
Reeves talks about how Houck is a 3:1 legislator – where he votes against his district for three years and then the election year does all he can to get re-elected.
“[Voters] want to see people go down [to Richmond] and try to find ways to put Virginians back to work,” he said. “Where the rest of the country is lacking, we’re leading.”
The hard-nosed former police officer and small business owner minces no words when it comes to job creation, the economy, keeping taxes low, and fighting for the people of the 17th in this podcast – something they have lacked for many years.

Reeves sounds like a great new option for the 17th District. Houck is definitely NO CONSERVATIVE for Virginia.
Reeves is squared away with his ethics and plan for finally doing something for us rather than just raising taxes every single year like the incumbent and his cronies have.
As for the money advantage that the liberal in the office has, I just sent in $125 to Reeves to help out.
I urge the rest of the Virginia voters to do the same. Even if He isn’t in your specific district, he’ll be one of 40 Senators who votes for YOUR area on state-wide issues and on important committees than can kill or pass a bill to help your area.
Bryce is the real deal. A conservative with the right combination of private and public sector experience and genuine convictions which inform his strict adherence to the Constitution and support for individual liberty. It is about time the 17th had a representative that reflected the values of its constituents!
Bryce Reeves is the man we need in The Virginia Senate, representing the 17th District. Regardless of whether you live in the 17th State Senate district, he will vote your values – so please go to his website and do what you can to help him defeat a well-funded 28 year incumbent.
Bryce has my vote, the money I can spare and any sweat and toil I can give to getting the vote out!
A platform of worthless platitudes-something about defending the Constitution, la-de-la-de-da, something about quality education, dum-de-dum-de-dum, something about keeping government out of our lives, yesirree, he’s our man. Not a single idea in his head. Two uniforms does not a great man make.
