Darth Boehner?
By Lynn R. Mitchell | Sunday, July 31st, 2011 | Catch-AllHouse Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), in remarks on the U.S. House floor Saturday during the debt ceiling debate, drew boos from fellow House members when she accused Speaker John Boeher of “going to the Dark Side.”
Irritated at her successor and conjuring up images of Star Wars, she complained:
“The Speaker chose, when he didn’t have the votes, instead of to reach out in a bipartisan way to see how we could work together, he chose to go to the dark side.”
It was an interesting choice of words that seemed to imply that she was comparing Boehner to the evil force from Star Wars known as Darth Vader.

Cartoon characters spout cartoon language. No surprise there.
Well I already have “Sith” on my license plate so he can’t have that in Virginia.
Democrats were instrumental in stopping the Reid debt ceiling proposal in the Senate. And of course, the Republicans will be blamed. But in the totality of blame politics, the tide is turning as some of those 23 Senate Democrats up for election in 2012 are starting to peel off as they recognize that to be at the left of this debate will eventually be used against them. Reid and the rest of the hard core leftists could be the backup singers in this new rap video.
Just like John McCain and his misunderstanding of the character of hobbits, the Former (thanks be to God) Speaker doesn’t understand the Star Wars saga.
True, Vader went to the dark side. But in the end he was restored by the younger Tea Party Jedi…
